My Facebook Struggle

Posted on Updated on

I’m bored let’s check out Facebook. No new messages, like always. Wait a minute, she’s online. Should I say hi? No let’s wait for her to do it. Come on just a simple hello to get the ball rolling. 10 minute passes and another 10 minutes. Ok let’s do it, let’s do it… it’s a simple tab on the “H” and the “I” … I can do it.

But if I start the conversation what will we talk about. School hell no. I don’t want it to be one of the “Hey. How you doing….blabla” conversations I want us to talk about something, anything. You know what, Fuck it let’s just go for it, let’s go … Oh shit she’s off line.

Oh well let’s just right about it on WordPress.

What is above, is me every time I’m on Facebook. People only send me messages when they want something from me, it’s kind of sad. I always want to chat with them but I want them to take the initiative, I hope I’m not the only one with this “issue”.

I know that a lot people have conversation on Facebook (which is the point), but I mean real exchange not just hello, how are you, how’s the family. Or is this the only kind of conversation that exists?

Don’t get me wrong I would love to know about your family and your well being, but after all the greeting what will we talk about.

This got me thinking what is a genuine conversation on social Medias?  What do people talk about?  How much different are our conversation from those of the 90’s and 80’s?

The hell with it, I’m just going to start chating with the next person I find online or maybe the second.
